Join Insight's dynamic team as a highly motivated Services Technician. In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge technology, performing configuration, modification, repair, testing, and / or servicing on IT devices.

You'll work in a state-of-the-art light industrial / warehouse environment with mandatory overtime during high volume business periods.

Key Responsibilities

High level of technical proficiency with IT equipment.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Comfort and familiarity with assembly and re-assembly of devices.

Ability to keep current with alternative systems and technology and make technology recommendations to management consistent with the company’s business and systems strategies.

Ability to enter data into systems accurately.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion.

Represent Insight in a professional and business-like manner and communicate effectively with Insight’s associates and their clients.

What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) from a four-year college or university or 2 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of one year hardware troubleshooting experience, including laptops and desktops for Tier One vendors.

A certification and at least one vendor hardware certification required.

Minimum of one (1) year bench and / or on-site service technical experience.

Working knowledge in major desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 8.x, 10, OSX, iOS).

Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures a plus.

The base range for this position is typically $20 a hour with benefits. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
