Responsibilities:
· Therapists will maintain a caseload of clients ranging from 16 through 60 years of age with varying mental health and developmental needs, who participate in private insurance and/or private pay options
· All duties are under the direct supervision of CEO/Clinical Director
· Weekly supervision is required to work towards independent licensure and will be completed under the requirements of the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
· Leads individual and/or group counseling sessions for clients using EMDR, CBT, Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, REBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Sand Tray therapy, etc.
· Therapists are responsible for clinical services, but not limited to, intakes, assessments, treatment planning, individual and/or group counseling sessions, staffing, collateral contact, documentation, billing, scheduling, follow-ups, and crisis intervention
· Maintains counseling records and documentation utilizing Simple Practice (EMR System)
· Completes all documentation within 72 hours
· Ensures confidentiality of clients and records
· Maintains the expectation of providing the highest level of ethics and standards, both with the American Counseling Association and the practice, as a representation of the practice
· Assists clients, based on clinical need, with trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, substance use, communication skills, socialization skills, grief, guilt, shame, PTSD, family and relationship issues, abuse, etc.
· Works collaboratively with family members, community, and employers, as needed
· Administers Neuropsychological Testing (GAD, PHQ-9, LEC-5, etc.)
· Keeps all licensure, certifications, CEU’s, and liability insurance current
· Seeks continuing education, aside from supervision, as needed, based on client needs
· Participates in staffings, trainings, and supervision, as per clinical and company expectations
· Engages in continuous collaboration with other team members in the practice
Qualifications Requirements:
· Must be able to be eligible for Practicum/Intern status through sponsored Graduate university or have a Master’s degree in applicable field or higher
· Must have Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners administered LAC, MFT, or higher, if Master’s has been obtained
· Therapists are required to see 20 clients per week, but are able to see more, if desired
· Proof of current (Personal) Professional Liability Insurance
· Proof of current Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card
· Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation (Simple Practice), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Internet, and computer/keyboarding
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Utilization and/or training in Trauma Informed Care, Play Therapy, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, CBT, etc.
· Must be self-aware, culturally sensitive and competent, team player, honest, hardworking, and willing to ask for help
