We Need:
InReach needs a Independent Contractor to work as Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff for an Adult Female Individual with Developmental Disabilities in Waxhaw, NC in the Union County location.

DSP Staff will provide Day Support Services and Community Networking Services for 30 hours per week in the home and out in the community. (DS and CN Services).

**Must be able to lift, handle a wheelchair, and transport

**Must be able to handle personal needs

**Must be able to participate in activities and handle pets in the home

Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, and Friday (9:30am to 3:30pm) Thur (10:30am to 4:30pm)

Pay Rate: Day Support Services 10 hours per @ $22.52/hr and

Community Networking Services 20 hours @ $22.27/hr

What You'll Do:

• Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
• Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
• Facilitate community integration.
• Help individual develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitoring dosages.
• Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
