Summary of Purpose / Full Summary Description Notes:

The Engineer in Client Services and Infrastructure Operations is responsible for the technical aspects of securing and managing the existing INPO client infrastructure and our IT enterprise solutions. This includes web integrations, data protection, application security, and overall client support. As a core member of the Client Services Second Level Team, the incumbent is accountable for helping in architecting, maintaining, and securing critical infrastructure for Enterprise IT.

Essential Functions

• Participate and supports development of new programs, products, process improvements and new procedures
• Coordinate and participate in industry or corporate programs and INPO initiatives
• Respond to internal and external requests for information
• Prepare information for meetings, workshops, and seminars
• Interface with INPO senior managers, utility, and other personnel at all levels
• Participate in industry-related seminars, meetings, and workshops to improve knowledge and skills in assigned specialty area.
• Identify gaps and assist in developing action plans to improve programs, processes and procedures including escalation to key stakeholders as necessary
• Mentoring of Service Desk Co-ops
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in related area

Experience

Required

• 5 years of experience in infrastructure management and administration, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), managing images using MDT, server hardware, and storage systems.
• 3 years of experience in Linux administration, server implementation, security measures, managing user access, and maintaining server stability.
• 3 years of experience in Ping SSO, BeyondTrust PAM products, and Intune.
• 5 years of combined experience in management of MS365, on-premises server infrastructure including user management, group policy management, and access control.
• 5 years of experience in Azure, MS 365, Office 365, or Office on-premises administration, including managing user accounts, configuring security settings, monitoring for security threats, and threat remediation.

Preferred

• 3 years of experience configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring security endpoints using tools like Artic Wolf, SolarWinds, Splunk, or similar security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• 3 years of managing, securing, servicing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based services and platforms, including experience with cloud security controls, identity, and access management (IAM), and encryption technologies.
