Job Summary:
The Contracts Manager shall be a customer-focused government business manager with experience excelling at supporting operational teams with contracts, client accounts, growth strategy planning, and multi-tasking several high-profile government projects through timely completion. The Contracts Manager should be a team leader and builder with contracts management expertise and a keen ability to coach staff, execute the customer relationship management process, and research profitable opportunities. They should be adaptable and self-motivated solutions provider seeking to leverage background into a government business management or proposal-oriented role with a progressive organization.
Job Duties:
*Administer, extend, negotiate, and close out Federal DOD and commercial contracts worth (CP, FFP, T&M, IDIQ), NDAs, Teaming Agreements and Consulting Agreements, and Joint Venture Agreements.
*Author Letters of Intent, Agreements, and Working Agreements, while assisting corporate members during the negotiation process.
*Review and execute 1099 Consulting Service Agreements, including all required legal documentation, employee agreements, W-9s, statements of work, and schedules for completion.
*Desktop publishing skills at all stages of the draft to include the final product for all contractual and corporate documentation.
*Communicate contractual status, compliance and modifications to the customer and internal management for corrective action planning.
*Analyze unique contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure.
*Assist company during acquisitions with contract management and administration, including customer introductions, document reviews, contract writing, negotiations, and legal compliance.
*Manage multiple Prime and Sub contracts simultaneously, and provided out-of-cycle reporting to primes to avoid gaps in funding.
*Assist in the development of Contract Department policies and procedures. CPSR experience is a plus.
*Perform Contract Compliance actions, including but not limited to performing audits, ITAR, Conflicts of Interest, and Small Business Reporting.
*Identify risks and issues to suggest alternative resolutions.
*Evaluate and review all contract files in preparation for successful DCAA audit.
*Interface with Legal Assessors to optimize risk management.
*Liaison between program team and business unit/legal for contractual obligations to ensure issues are addressed efficiently and promptly.
*Liaison with Government and commercial customers on behalf of Company coordinated proposal preparation.
*Liaison between the program team and the vendors to streamline data and best practice sharing and optimize productivity.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
*Education: A Bachelor's degree in business, legal, or management discipline is desired.

*Must be an excellent communicator - verbal & written.
*Must be able to read and interpret Federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully and legally to all activities.
Physical Demands:
*Must be able to work in a typical office environment.
*Position may require travel to engage with customer or other partners.
*Work Schedule - 40 hours per week, typically Monday - Friday but with evening and weekend hours required if necessary to respond quickly to corporate priorities.
