We are seeking a RN Fellow for the STICU at Inova Loudoun Hospital. This is for an experienced RN looking to change specialties. Schedule: Full time day shift.Inova Loudoun Hospital is a growing 183-bed nationally recognized acute-care community hospital with a rich history of proudly serving our growing and diverse community since 1912. We provide compassionate and comprehensive care for the entire family. 

Surgical Trauma ICU unit is an 11-bed unit on the first floor with close proximity to both the OR and the ER. We care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, along with post-procedural patients. We also care for Intermediate Care level surgical and trauma patients as well.

Patient to Nurse Ratio: 2:1 (ICU patients) and 3:1 (IMC patients) in the STICU. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience. Prefer 2 years previous Surgical/Post op experience.
• Education: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
• Proficient computer skills required.
