Purchasing Associate

Inova is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to join our growing accounting team. Your main responsibilities will be to order supplies and help maintain purchasing info and data in the computer program we use (Odoo). This is a Full-time Monday-Friday office position requiring excellent computer and math skills.

This will involve creating POs, updating pricing in the system, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate order records, including dates and discounts.

Your goal will be to make cost-effective purchases while ensuring our inventory remains well-stocked.

Responsibilities:

· Report to Materials Manager

· Practice lean principles and 5S to keep area clean and running smoothly.

· Vendor Defects; work with Materials Manager to make sure we receive correct credits from vendors.

· Assist with buying routine items off of Kanban cards and job specific items off of BOMs.

· Use Odoo (Online ERP software) to identify parts and incoming orders, as well as to create RFQs and Purchase Orders

· Track and monitor orders to ensure they are delivered and received in a timely manner.

· Maintain accurate records and update as needed.

· Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.

· Communicate with all depts to procure items efficiently.

Education/Experience:

• Associates Degree preferred and 2 years of related job experience in a purchasing role.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment & be a team player.
• Must have an open mind, as additional tasks may be asked of you
• Very well organized and detail oriented.
• Must be proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Great with numbers.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8-4:30

Pay: $34,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
