Inova Health System is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Neonatal ICU (NICU) Near Falls, VA

Inova Health System is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse for our Inova L. J. Murphy’s Children's Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our 108-bed, Level IV NICU is the largest in the region, and cares for high-risk infants requiring specialized care and observation. The NICU is also the first in the nation to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for Prematurity. This certification represents the highest level of care for premature birth patients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of NICU RN experience. 2 years of Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred.
  • Education: BSN, MSN or ADN required. If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 24 months of state date.
  • Licensure and Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required, RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
