The Referral Specialist for Fairfax Family Practice Primary Care (FFPC) provides timely referrals for any specialist or imaging facility requiring insurance authorization based on individual patient healthcare plans.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains an efficient flow of written and verbal information in referral processes.
- Establishes / maintains a professional rapport with specialist offices and medical facilities to ensure quality healthcare for referred patients.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Additional Requirements
Experience - 1 year of experience working in a physician's office or medical institution required.
Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
