Join our amazing team as our newest Part-Time Veterinary Assistant or LVT. We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing hospital to provide exceptional care to our patients! You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants, Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital.

Walton Gwinnett Animal Clinic, in Loganville, GA, is a full-service veterinary hospital. We offer a variety of services including wellness and vaccination programs, dental care, radiology, dermatology, endoscopy, cardiology, ultrasonography, and endocrinology.

We have a team of veterinarians and support staff that truly enjoy what they do. We take every step to give pets the best possible care and the first step is our wonderful staff.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

• Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
• Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
• Assists with radiographic procedures
• Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
• Provide care to hospitalized patients
• Manage invoicing of patients
• Client communication and education
• Admitting and discharging patients

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Preferred have at least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience
• Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods of time
