Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Effective communication with both clients & team
- Safe handling & restraint of animals
- Obtain vitals & medical history
- Venipuncture
- Place intravenous catheters
- Administer medications PO, SQ, IM, & IV
- Administer & monitor anesthesia
- Surgical assistance
- Bandaging
- Laboratory testing & radiography
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- Current CVT license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
- Rotating weekend and holiday availability are required
