Innovative women’s care is Hiring a Medical Practice Administrator Near Las Vegas, NV

We are a growing OB/GYN Practice that is seeking a seasoned Practice Administrator that oversees the completion of various administrative tasks within a medical office.

Practice Manager Summary

The Admin will responsible for the overall management of the practice and the efficient operation of the business. The Admin will ensure that the practice is compliant with all regulations and standards, that quality care is maintained, and that patient satisfaction is consistently maintained. The Admin will ensure that the practice is well managed, that staff are trained appropriately, and that all necessary paperwork is completed. The Admin will ensure that staff are well compensated for their work, and that all staff are working to maintain a high level of service to patients.

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • At least 2 years of experience in a OB/GYN medical office setting
  • At least 2 years of Medical Office Management or Medical Facility Management.
  • An understanding of the business and medical operations of a practice.
  • Ability to grasp the big picture and manage multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Understanding of medical billing and coding
  • Referrals, prior auths, eligibility and benefits
  • Experience with eClinical Works Highly desired
  • Surgery Scheduling (2 year of experience)
  • Understanding of and strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines
  • Excellent repertoire with other colleagues and can handle personnel issues with ease.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards colleagues and patients
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to communicate effectively with physicians; ability to listen to problems and suggest solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while still managing multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment while being flexible and open to change.

Position Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to select, lead, coach, counsel, supervise, evaluate, and reward staff to build strong teams and to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assure the staff is following office protocols and routinely assessing they are doing their assigned duties.
  • Check in with front and back-office team members daily to ensure they understand their responsibilities and are working effectively.
  • Communicate with patients who have questions or concerns.
  • Hire and terminate employees in accordance with physician guidance.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to independently prioritize/organize follow-through of detailed work and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, manage and complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated patient experience success.
  • Analytical skills with ability to develop and implement the operating budget.
  • Quality management experience with HEDIS and other key quality measures.
  • Compliance management to include OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA and risk programs.
