Due to our growth and the volume of opportunities now in front of us, we are looking for someone to join our team as a Production Technician.

Job Summary: As our Production Technician, you will be responsible for every step of the manufacturing process; from loading the ingredients, to monitoring cooking and depositing, to product finishing and packaging while working as part of a team.

Location: We are headquartered in southwest Missouri, in Purdy, MO., with our main production facility in Mt. Vernon, MO. This individual will be required to work at our Mt. Vernon, MO location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Measure and load raw ingredients into the processing equipment by following company recipes and industry standards.
• Monitor processing equipment and make adjustments (as needed) to maintain product quality standards.
• Comprehend written instructions and recipes from the company when putting together ingredients and starting a new batch of products.
• React to any type of alarms or malfunctions of the equipment and operate the shut-off switch when necessary.
• Remove bulk product from the production line and move batches to the next step of the manufacturing process.
• Verify that each finished item meets the quality standards of the company by observing the shape, color, and finish of the gummies.
• Clean/Sanitize all product-contact materials and equipment, as well as the workspace, by following company cleanliness standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work in a team environment with ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner.
• Ability to rotate to other areas of production as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in food production or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred:

• Experience working within the natural foods channel, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industry.

Physical Requirements:

• Sufficient visual acuity to observe appearance of products and cleanliness of production area and equipment.
• Prolonged periods of standing and working in fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to move as needed to various workstations with production facility.
• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds at times.
