INNOVATIVE MINDS ABA LLC is Hiring an Experienced Bilingual Behavior Technician/ RBT Near Fresno, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our organization is searching for skilled bilingual individuals who are enthusiastic about working with children with neurotypical disabilities and developmental delays. We provide two types of services: in-home ABA interventions and center-based therapy.

As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing individualized intervention plans that focus on teaching communication, social interaction, and daily living skills. You will also help to reduce challenging behaviors, document progress, and complete progress note summaries by the end of each shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings with developmental disabilities, specifically autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

- Collect ongoing data, record client progress, and summarize data on observable client behavior.

- Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.

- Conduct patient assessment and collect data on behavior and progress.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and modify treatment plans under the supervision of the BCBA.

- Continuously assess the client's progress and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans by collecting and evaluating data.

- Assist in writing intervention plans that address any excesses or deficits in clients' programs under the supervision of the BCBA.

- Assist with parent and caregiver training per the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.

- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

- Commitment to ongoing training and development related to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, technology, and training to perform job responsibilities to the required standard.

- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

- Attend monthly scheduled clinic meetings to discuss the client's program, intervention, and progress.

- Attend any and all necessary trainings and seminars associated with the job description.

- Collaborate with the treatment team, including clients, parents, caregivers, and outside professionals.

- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.

- Must maintain a professional appearance regarding clothing, grooming, hair, and makeup.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

- 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in ABA or one year experience with 12 units of ABA coursework at the graduate level or a related field (e.g., psychology, special education, behavioral health).

- Bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field is highly preferred.

- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.

- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients, their families, and staff.

- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand, sit on the floor, sit on a child's chair, squat, or kneel for extended periods.

- Must be sufficient to read and comprehend written communication through a computer, electronic devices, and paper means.

- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites within 20-60 miles from current location.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

- BLS/CPR/First Aid.

- Hold valid immunization records and pass the TB exam.

- Pass physical wellness exam for employment.

- Cleared for Livescan from the Department of Justice.

- Must have a valid California Driver's License and insurance in good standing.

- Must have a clean driving record.

WAGE: Dependent on Education and experience
