Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Front and Back Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Office Duties:

• Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
• Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
• Verify patient insurance information and process payments
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and emailing

Back Office Duties:

• Prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs, and recording medical histories
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
• Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as required
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Conduct basic lab tests and report results
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
• Educate patients on healthcare management and treatment plans
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a primary care or similar healthcare setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
