Join our three- location practice to be a surgical assistant that is also dually trained to assist in the delivery of general anesthesia by a nationally recognized training program by the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

We are looking for Part Time patient-focused experienced dental assistants who are caring, outgoing, nurturing and multi-taskers to join our Newtown and Feasterville teams. While oral surgery experience is a plus, if you have experience within dentistry we will train the right candidates.

To be a successful surgical assistant in our practice, candidates should enjoy helping people, possess a caring spirit to calm children and adults that are scared, be very detailed oriented, proactive, and be a team player. We have a very close-knit team that enjoys working with one another, helps one another and welcomes newcomers with enthusiasm. Our need is for PT dental assistants work up to 20 hours per week between two of our office locations (Newtown and Feasterville) between 7:30am and 5:00pm.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Surgically assisting surgeons
• Handing clinical office tasks such as greeting and preparing patients for surgery, sterilization of instruments, cleaning and organizing operatories, reordering of supplies, taking digital x-rays
• Participating in staff and doctor continuing education
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeons in order to ensure a seamless and positive experience for our patients
• Use of a computer, as our office is digital and paperless

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant Requirements:

• PA dental x-ray license
• Attention to detail
• Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for our patients
• Excellent communication skills
