Responsibilities: - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions - Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans - Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) - Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills - Utilize behavioral strategies to manage challenging behaviors - Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of treatment goals - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Skills: - Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) - Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles - Ability to collect and analyze data accurately - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals with ASD and their families - Understanding of patient assessment procedures - Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
