Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a busy clinic setting. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing medical documents
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer basic life support when necessary
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Assist with coding and billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and delivery of care
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in taking accurate vital signs
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Experience with medication administration
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
