We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our Trade Show Division. IE focuses on innovative tradeshow exhibit designs and unique workplace branding, as well as the right solutions for custom corporate interiors, broadcast studios, and corporate and multifamily signage.
Position Description:
As an Inventory Control Specialist in our Trade Show Division, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our inventory of trade show materials and supplies. While no previous trade show experience is necessary, we are looking for a candidate with exceptional organizational skills and computer proficiency. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our trade show operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
Receive and inspect incoming inventory shipments, checking for quality and accuracy.
Prepare and maintain detailed inventory records, including item descriptions, quantities, and locations.
Implement and manage inventory control processes to minimize loss or theft.
Monitor inventory levels, and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock.
Collaborate with other teams to coordinate the retrieval and return of trade show materials.
Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
Generate reports and provide data analysis on inventory trends.
Utilize inventory management software to track and manage inventory efficiently.
Assist in preparing and packing materials for trade shows, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
High attention to detail, demonstrating military-style precision.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in computer applications, including inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Previous inventory control experience is a plus but not required.
A commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality in all tasks.
