Innovative Driven is seeking JDs and attorneys to serve as law clerks to work on several long-term contracts for various government entities. If selected for the assignment, you will need to be prepared to complete background clearance paperwork. 

Please note that you will be requested to work on-site for all or part of the workweek. 

**Please note that before placement you will be required to complete the pre-screening process.**

• Start: As soon as a Public Trust clearance is obtained
• Duration: long-term, likely to last 1 year, renewable for 4 additional years
• Hours: 40 per week, Monday - Friday, no weekends or overtime (OT)
• Rate: $32.36/hr (plus Health &Wellness)
• Location: Hybrid Schedule - Remote with days on-site in Downtown DC office
• Bar/Cert: JDs or Attorneys
• Benefits include the following:
  • Health & Wellness: The hourly amount is paid per hour up to 40 hours per week.
    • The dollar amount is based on the SCA Wage Determination.
  • Holiday Pay: Eleven (11) federal holidays as outlined by the SCA Wage Determination.
    • New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
  • Sick Leave: Accrued at 1 hour per every 30 hours worked.
  • Vacation: eligible for 80 hours vested at anniversary date.
    • Any unused vacation time is paid out at (whichever occurs first) the next anniversary date, at the completion of the contract, or termination.
    • Amount of vacation time increases after 5 years.
• Other Requirements: must be willing to submit to government clearance paperwork. 
  • Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research experience.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
  • Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of e-discovery procedures and resources.
  • Must have Relativity experience.
  • Trial experience is a plus.
