Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Groundline Inspection Operator / Laborer

Position type : Full-Time, Contract

Duration : 12 Month

Location : Maryland / Pennsylvania Area (pretty much anywhere in MD / PA should work)

As a Groundline Inspection Operator / Laborer , you will :

Responsibilities :

• Groundline inspectors traveling from utility pole to utility pole performing inspections (walking from pole to pole and sometimes driving between sites).
• when digging you're digging 18 inches down and about 4-5 inches wide around the pole; won't report to an office with any regularity.
• When deployed, will use company vehicle or company leased vehicle.
• Needs to be reliable with a strong work ethic and integrity.
• The person will have to have a clear driver's license.
• Will need to be able to travel extensively (a couple of weeks at a time).
• May require digging down 18 inches.
• Should have experience working outside in the elements in a range of weather conditions.
• Experience with hand tools : hammer, shovel, drill, screwdrivers.
• Will need to be willing to work overtime.
• A great deal of time was spent deployed to other areas.
• Attend a safety meeting in the morning.
• Will be carrying a drill that is 36 lbs.
• Work is outside in all seasons and weather (cold, hot, inclement weather).
• Needs to be able to work without direct / constant oversight and will be self-motivated to get the work done without someone standing over them.
• Needs to be able to fly frequently for the travel required by the job.
• Interviews : Likely to be scheduled for a Video conference interview

The ideal candidate will have : 2-5 years of Utility / Field Technician experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range* : $18-21 per Hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
