Maintenance Project Assistant

We are currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Project Assistant position at our Fortune 500 client in Danville, VA!

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Project Assistant

• Assist Engineers and Maintenance Specialist
• 80% project management responsibilities 20% mechanical/manufacturing responsibilities
• Creating timelines, milestones, and deliverables to contribute to maintenance project planning
• Manage maintenance and engineering projects throughout lifecycle
• Keep records of all information related to project for documentation and clarification
• Present/Update progress to management

Required Skills and Knowledge- Maintenance Project Assistant

• Project Management experience
• Ability to read, interpret, and create GANTT charts
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Background in manufacturing or maintenance
• Excellent time management skills
• Some electrical experience required
• Advanced Microsoft Suite knowledge (Word/Excel/Project/PowerPoint)

Education and Experience - Maintenance Project Assistant

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Associates Degree preferred
• PMP Certification preferred

Benefits and Pay - Maintenance Project Assistant

• Pay: $20 – 25/hour, Based on Experience
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3PM
  • Some overtime may be required
