Position Summary
This position will perform the development, implementation, maintenance, security and use of technology throughout the company. You will address user concerns to completion, or by escalating to others in the department, by utilizing existing knowledge, company wiki, collaborating with colleagues, the Internet, vendor support, etc. Advise the full range of information systems and telecommunications activities, including determining user requirements, recommending practical solutions, testing, and leading company-wide efforts to improve the effective use of technology. Supervise IT and control the hardware, software, networks, and systems to ensure the integrity and security by following policy, procedures, diagnostics, testing, monitoring, vulnerabilities, performance, disaster recovery, government requirements and other information and metrics. Support department activities of training, budgeting, audits, policy creation and enforcement, surveys, learning emerging technologies, automating and other non-IT tasks. Provide Senior Management feedback in evaluating current systems and aligning technology objectives with the company mission and strategic objectives.
