We are seeking a reliable Pizza Delivery Driver to transport pizza from our restaurant to our guests and employees. In this position, you will be required to confirm that orders have been correctly fulfilled before delivering the product along with processing payments and assisting with kitchen preparation, cleaning, and sanitation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Always approaches all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promotes a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
• Deliver pizzas quickly and safely to hotels and surrounding areas by vehicle and / or foot.
• Interact with guests face to face and by phone to take and deliver orders and procure payments via point of sale system.
• Has thorough knowledge of menus and the preparation required, according to hotel standards.
• Engages and creates a positive experience for guests.
• Maintains knowledge of the menu and all specials.
• Cooperates and communicates with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
• Follows hygiene policies and examines uniforms and equipment for cleanliness.
• Assists with maintaining food quality, food preparation, and food production.
• Aids in assessing food portion size, visual appeal, and temperature of items served.
• Adheres to all relevant health department rules / regulations and all customer service guidelines.
• Maintains a friendly attitude, attending all guests in an efficient and prompt manner.
• Projects a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
• Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe working area along with awareness of all sanitary practices.
• Supports other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handles guest complaints and solve the problem to the degree possible.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Must have a clean driving record and valid Driver License.

3. Must have current automobile insurance and reliable, all weather, transportation.

4. Experience in culinary or hospitality industry preferred.

5. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or scheduled form.

6. Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.

7. Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.

8. Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.

9. Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.

10. Must be a team player.

11. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high degree of autonomy.
