Role Summary: 
As a key member of our leadership team, you will report directly to the Business Unit President and take on a global role overseeing Waukesha Engine's technical service activities. You will spearhead a worldwide organization of customer-centric technical support and training professionals. Your team will be the guiding force for our customers, providing unparalleled support from the moment our engines depart our manufacturing facilities, and continuing throughout the entire product lifecycle. This is a unique opportunity to make a global impact and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and product performance. 
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Build and lead a team of global customer focused, technical professionals that lead with a customer-first mission to provide wing to wing customer support for post equipment and technical service & support.
  • Ensure key account relationships with Waukesha Engines is and remains positive, including a focus on new end-users, new products, and new applications.
  • Enable channel partners by supporting and developing and deepening Waukesha Engine technical skills through product and technical training that can be translated into future sales and business opportunities.
  • Lead the team to support and enable successful commercialization of new product launches including equipment commissioning, field validation, warranty, and customer concession support.
  • Lead and establish a team that onboards new partners and provides responsive support to customers to resolve technical inquiries related to the after-sales process.
  • Build and establish a foundation of Waukesha technical competency in the oil & gas industry and other adjacent markets.
 
Qualifications/ Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or a business-related discipline from an accredited college or university. Advanced degree in, management, marketing, MBA, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have a past track record of leading a technical service organization.
  • Channel partnership success with experience in implementing and organizing business development strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining key relationships.
  • Minimum 15 years managing global organization providing high quality service for large reciprocating equipment. 
  • Experience managing Profit & Loss.
  • Experience in the energy, oil or gas industry is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 70% of the time.
