InnerSourced Solutions is Hiring a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( Part-Time, Contract) Near Waldorf, MD

InnerSourced Solution has an IMMEDIATE need for a part-time, 1099 contractual licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is interested in being a part of our growing behavioral health team. Ideal candidates will have a strong administrative, medical and psychopharmacology skills. Applicant must possess an active Maryland RN license, DEA and CDS registration number and malpractice insurance for full consideration. We are seeking for serious applicants who can complete electronic onboarding and start within 2 weeks of accepting an offer.

Must be able to prescribe Suboxone to clients with substance use disorder(s).

Preference will be given to practitioners with a CAQH profile and are credentialed / paneled with Maryland Medicaid and provide all requisite data.

We are a community based, outpatient clinic with office located in Baltimore City and Waldorf providing psychiatric mental healthcare for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of disorders and are looking for core team members who desire to grow with the agency long term.

You will enjoy a very flexible schedule with no on call work or weekend work (unless that is your preference), to help maintain a good work/life balance or so you can handle other part-time jobs you may have. 

 SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Psychiatric administrative and clinical services consisting of psychiatric evaluation of acute, episodic or chronic mental illnesses; Individual, Family, and Supportive Therapy, if needed; psychotropic medication management; monitoring of treatment adherence and assessment of risk; supervision of OMHC practices protocols; treatment team supervision; involuntary commitment documentation; providing continuous clinical monitoring and administrative training as required by the State of Maryland. 

EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Appropriate professional degree (MSN or DNP) from an accredited university/college
  • Current, unrestricted, complete, and active Maryland nursing license 
  • Current ANCC Board Certification as a PMHNP in good standing 
  • Current/Active DEA & CDS Registration Numbers
  • NPI
  • Current/Active Malpractice Insurance
  • Current/Active CPR/First Aid
  • Working knowledge of and adherence with insurance practices

  • You are a talented psychiatric nurse practitioner with one or more years of training and direct service experience diagnosing, treating and evaluating children, adolescents and adults with mental health conditions. 
  • You are a team player and have experience working with underserved populations and clinical comorbidities such as co-existing mental health and/or substance use disorders or physical conditions.
  • You have strong communication skills and work well with diverse populations.
  • You are amenable to providing psychiatric services via HIPAA compliant video conferencing, allowing you to work remotely.
  • Proficient in the English language, both in writing and speaking to be able to communicate clearly with all stakeholders, including clients, families, clinic staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Possess strong computer skills, including working with (EMR) medical software applications.
  • MUST utilize CRISP for clients prescribed controlled substances and provide documentation of findings with clients medical record, pursuant to COMAR regualtions

Rate: Contingent upon 1 year of relevant POST CRNP-PMH LICENSURE and E/M EXPERIENCE 

Pay Frequency: Monthly upon submission of invoice
