Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have active ACSW, AMFT, APC registration number that has not been renewed more than 5 years with CA BBS. Associate Psychotherapist will provide mental health counseling services to individuals children to Adult age, Couples, and Families with the goal of assisting in overcoming personal challenges and achieve emotional well-being.
Duties:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge
- Utilize therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, Parts Work, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (must be willing to train if not trained in couples work) also prefer candidate trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, or Somatic based Trauma training.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records following HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families
- Participate in data collection and outcome measurement activities
- Attend weekly staff meetings and supervision
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Current state registration through. CA BBS as an ACSW, AMFT, or APC
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis
- Experience working with individuals and openness to learning couples work
- Willing to work in-person schedule from Thursday and Friday 2-7 PM, Saturdays and Sundays (make your own hours on weekends)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
