We are a rapidly expanding Real Estate Development, Holding and Management Company seeking an Assistant Controller to join our team. Innate Concepts builds urban style living in our communities. Our company currently has developments in Kearney (LiveElement30.com), Norfolk (LiveLegacyBend.com), Grand Island (LiveLegacy34.com and TalonApartments.com) and Lexington (PrairieHeightsApartment.com).

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with and prepare financial reports for the Controller and company leadership

• Maintain records, financial data and reporting in Sage Intacct

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Maintain construction project Work-In-Progress (WIP) sheets and reconcile WIP sheets monthly

• Coordinate the monthly construction draw process with coding invoices, reviewing budgets, running reports, indicating Tax Increment Financing (TIF) eligible expenses and meeting with company leadership for approval

• Compile TIF submissions to city governments

• Coordinate document management system with standardized naming conventions

• Work with the company financial team to create internal controls and policies

• Additional duties as requested

Qualifications:

• Work authorization (Required)

• 4-year degree in accounting, financial, business, or equivalent work experience (Required)

• Additional 2 years of experience in accounting (Required)

• Strong understanding of general ledger, debits/credits, and intercompany knowledge (Preferred)

• Computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with accounting related systems

• Exceptional communication skills

• Flexibility in working with a rapidly changing environment
