Inland Valley Recovery Services is Hiring a Program Coordinator Substance Use Treatment Near Upland, CA

Summary:

In accordance with the vision, mission and values of IVRS, this position is responsible for general oversight and daily operations at the Campus. Directly supervises staff, volunteers and interns. Reports to Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field; or Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with five years experience in a treatment setting. Computer literate. Valid California Driver’s License, proof of automobile insurance and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certificates.

Duties:

  • Supervise operations of the Campus.
  • Provide adequate supervision of clients at all times.
  • Assure safe transportation of clients.
  • Approve treatment plans for clients and the review/revision in conjunction with case conferences.
  • Monitor client case records.
  • Review discharge summaries and progress evaluations.
  • Review, approve and/or administer disciplinary action when inappropriate conduct on the client’s behalf warrants such action.
  • Intervene and assist counselors and clients in making decisions regarding client problems that fall outside the normal therapeutic regimen.
  • Review urinalysis reports.
  • Coordinate special events.
  • Conduct reviews of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate weekly staff meetings and schedule other special meetings as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain expenditures within set departmental budget.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations in hiring and terminating subordinates.
  • Coordinate and delegate duties and responsibilities to subordinates.
  • Assure that subordinates carryout their assigned job responsibilities.
  • Develop staff schedules to assure adequate staff coverage at all times.
  • Monitor performance of subordinates through chart reviews, audits of lectures and groups; client care monitoring and utilization review.
  • Administer disciplinary action to subordinates as appropriate.
  • Conduct annual employee performance evaluations when notified to do so by Human Resources.
  • Meet regularly with the Director of Operations and the Clinical Supervisor to discuss issues and coordinate delivery of quality care.
  • Participate as an active member on assigned committees.
  • All other duties deemed necessary and appropriate by CEO.
  • Remain on call except during regularly scheduled vacation.

· Maintain compassion, empathy, and professionalism toward clients; their family members and/or significant others at all times.

· Attend all required agency staff and training meetings.

· Adhere to policies and procedures regarding absences and tardiness.

· Ensure the highest level of service is provided to the people we serve.

· Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with federal guidelines, including HIPAA regulations.

· Adhere to staff Codes of Ethics and Conduct.

· Adhere to policies and procedures set forth for agency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
