Essential Duties
The essential duties of our respite caregivers are to ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability.
Duties consist of daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting assistance), daily routines, and / or homework. We encourage our caregivers to engage and initiate age-appropriate activities for the client and build positive relationships with the family and clients.
Required Qualifications :
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Valid Social Security
- Current Negative Tuberculosis Test
- Valid CPR / First Aid Certification for Infants, Children and Adults
- Reliable transportation
- Remains calm under pressure
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with caretaking,
- Experience or Exposure to any disability.
- Willingness to provide toileting assistance.
Salary : Starting rate of $17.50
