This position will be located in the sales and service dealership in Phoenix, AZ.

This position could also be located at any of the following Inland business locations in British Columbia: Burnaby, Langley, Kamloops, Prince George, Fort St. John or in Winnipeg, MB for local area candidates with work eligibility in these locations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Truck Technical Support Representative will be responsible for providing technical support across the branch service departments with a primary focus on Fleet Support customers. They will be a support liaison between the company and manufacturers while having frequent interaction with branch service personnel. The primary focus will be on Kenworth products, including Cummins, Cat, Eaton, Meritor, Dana Spicer, and other suppliers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support service departments across the company with technical support and repair plans.
• Provide visibility to Inland on upcoming issues and repair strategy to reduce down time for the customer.
• Provide technical support to the service managers with vendor goodwill/policy when needed. This can be technical data, labour, or diagnosis justifications.
• Work directly with manufacturers on projects that support product and service improvement or enhancement.
• Identify new issues and investigate to understand product reliability problems.
• Manage common failures across the business and act as the liaison with manufacturers to find a resolution.
• Support with TCS case review for timeliness and quality information from both dealerships and Kenworth.
• Provide technical support to the Fleet Support team within the Concierge program.
• Work closely with Paccar Connected Truck (TruckTech ) to help predetermine repair path before the truck gets to the dealership.
• Travel to dealerships to network with technicians and service departments and provide hands-on support when required. Partner with the Inland Learning & Development department to understand training requirements and service department performance.
• Become familiar with and comply with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Commercial Transport / Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification
• Paccar Engine and Electrical Certifications (MX, Electrical & BEV)
• Cummins Engine Certifications
• Experience with Kenworth Product and platforms required
• Excel, Outlook, PSSM, Ecat, RSI, TCS365 usage
• Industry experience specifically in Trucks and Service.
• Strong technical experience in all aspects of On Highway truck repair is required.
