The Compliance & Privacy Program Specialist is responsible for the coordination of general daily functions within the Compliance and Privacy Program. In the Compliance Program the Program Specialist provides support to the Compliance Program to track, monitor, report, and trend activities related to planning, development, and operations of the Compliance Program. For the Privacy Program the Program Specialist manages and processes internal and external allegations, and inquiries reported to IEHP’s Compliance Department, including noncompliance, FWA, HIPAA privacy, and other regulatory matters, in addition to collaboration with, inter-departments to ensure member needs are met while simultaneously building strong peer relationships.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare environment specific to compliance program practices.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Key Qualifications

• Must have a valid California Driver's License.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) as tested by IEHP. Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills; verbal and written.
