Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for clinical staff, including nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Assess the learning needs of clinical staff and develop appropriate educational materials and resources.
- Deliver educational sessions and workshops on various topics, such as adult education, pediatrics, ICU care, home care, and medical records.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify areas for improvement in patient care and develop training programs to address these areas.
- Stay up-to-date with current healthcare practices and regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments and feedback from participants.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clinical staff in their professional development.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse educator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of adult education principles and practices.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare procedures.
- Familiarity with ICU care, home care, and medical records management.
