About us:

We are looking for a compassionate nanny for our 2 month old daughter. Husband is military and wife works in town from 8am - 6pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment. We also have a 1 year old dog and a 1 year old cat that would need tending to (i.e. letting our dog out to use the bathroom, playing with the cat occasionally, etc.) and prefer someone that has experience with pets. We hope to find someone that is loving and nurturing, that understands the basic care needs of an infant and will be like part of the family.

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children

- Follow parents' guidelines for children's routines and schedules

- Prepare bottles and documenting how much baby is eating each feeding

- Provide basic care such as feeding and changing diapers

- Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to parents

- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- Prior experience in caregiving or nannying

- Knowledge of first aid procedures to include infant CPR and first aid (CPR certification is preferred)

- Strong communication skills with both children and parents

- Experience with infant care and educating through play

- Strong communication skills with both children and parents

- Experience with pets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends

Experience:

• Childcare or Nannying: 1 year (Required)
