Job Overview:

Immediate opening for an entry level Project Manager to join our team in Grandview, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or continue their career in project management and gain valuable hands-on experience. We engineer and design systems for handling dry ingredients and materials for various customers throughout the United States. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior level project managers on larger projects and directly manage smaller projects
  • Project documentation including development of detailed equipment list and bill of materials
  • Participation in project design and review meetings
  • Obtaining and evaluating bids for equipment and fabricated items
  • Procurement and delivery of equipment
  • Travel to customer locations for design and drawing review meetings
  • Over site and support of installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Working with salesmen regarding system design and layout
  • Managing project schedule and weekly reporting of progress on individual projects
  • Completion of projects in a timely, accurate and professional manner

Work Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related project management experience in a professional environment
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to customer project sites on a routine basis
  • Candidate must be willing to over see installation and commissioning of projects at customer sites on a routine basis
  • Candidate must have the ability to learn and understand the operations of mechanical equipment including: pneumatic conveying systems, bulk storage systems, weighing and batching systems, dust collection equipment, and related mechanical components
  • Experience with material handling systems extremely helpful
  • Experience with reading and understanding mechanical drawings required
  • Knowledge of steel fabrication extremely helpful
  • Knowledge of machining extremely helpful
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and be a team player working with others in a fun, fast paced work environment required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
