Job Role:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Associate will assist with facility maintenance, transportation, vehicle maintenance, and business deliveries. Degree not required.

Duties:

• Assist on first call removals as needed; transport decedent to the funeral home or other locations as needed
• Ensure vehicle fleet maintenance schedule and transport for repairs
• Ensure vehicle fleet is clean, detailed, works properly, and ready for use
• Monitor Gas levels in each vehicle after service, transportation, or delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized and functional garage and storage areas
• Perform minor building exterior and property maintenance
• Perform minor building interior maintenance
• Perform or assist with equipment maintenance and repair
• Deliver floral arrangements as needed
• Perform setup and tear down of catering events
• Unpack and organize flower shop’s inventory
• Maintain clean, organized and functioning floral cooler, and change buckets weekly
• Process, cut, and properly care for flowers and plants upon wholesale purchase
• Assist with closing list of the flower shop and funeral home as needed
• Transport and setup memorial setups from visitation room to chapel/church
• Oversee seasonal décor setup and teardown
• Perform various assistant tasks as delegated by Operations Manager

Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, basic computer skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent driving record and clean background check
- Prior experience in minor or basic building and property repairs
- Professional and caring demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
