You can see it in the well-tended facilities and beautiful grounds, the artfully arranged dinner plates and chock-full activities calendar. But what truly makes Ingersoll Place special are the wonderful people who call it home.
Our drivers are an essential part of our workforce because they connect to our residents while making sure they are safely transported to their appointments. This is a Part-time job that will need to be flexible with hours. All scheduled transportation are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Our Part-Time Driver position is about 20 hours a week and the hours vary on a day to day basis depending on the resident appointments. This position is perfect for retirees or someone with a flexible schedule.
The individual we are seeking will provide safe and reliable transportation for our residents. The Driver is responsible for ensuring that the medical and social needs of our residents are me by transporting them in our company car or bus. In addition, this person is responsible for overseeing the maintenance needs of the vehicles, and informing supervisors of the need for scheduled maintenance or repairs.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of High School Diploma
* At least one year of experience working in Assisted Living or similar field.
* Valid Drivers License proven by providing a copy of Drivers Abstract.
* Will need to pass physical requirements, background check and drug testing.
