Job Title: System Analyst (AML & Financial Crimes Banking)

Location: Tempe, AZ

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced System Analyst with a strong background in database management, AML compliance, and financial crimes detection within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MS SQL and DB2, coupled with a deep understanding of AML regulations and financial crime methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage databases using MS SQL and DB2 to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
    Analyze large datasets to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies indicative of potential financial crimes such as money laundering or fraud.
    Develop and maintain systems and processes for AML compliance, including policies, procedures, and tools to detect and prevent suspicious activities.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and enhance processes for AML compliance and financial crimes detection.
    Generate reports and documentation related to AML compliance efforts, including suspicious activity reports (SARs) and regulatory filings.
    Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to adapt systems and processes accordingly.
    Provide training and support to staff on AML policies, procedures, and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    9 years of experience as a System Analyst.
    Proficiency in MS SQL and DB2 database management.
    Strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance requirements.
    Experience with financial crimes detection methodologies and tools.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
