Infusion Care is looking for a RN with knowledge and passion in IV Infusion Therapy and Functional Medicine. Full Time ONLY positions are available at our Reno location. Shifts are primarily days, no major holidays, or weekends. This position reports to the Clinical Director and provides direct patient care while educating, collaborating, and counseling patients and caregivers in a clinical setting. Our nurses care for our medical and wellness patients by administering infusion and injection treatments and providing information and support. There is also opportunity to help expand our Aesthetics division to this clinic.

Requirements:

o Current RN license

o Two years’ experience in an infusion environment preferred, but not required

o Experience with Ultrasound Guided IVs and an interest in aesthetics is a plus!

Primary responsibilities will include:

o Bringing patients to the infusion department, obtaining vital signs as appropriate if MA unavailable

o Providing patient education regarding infusions as necessary

o Preparing patients for their infusions and initiating and implementing the patient care plan

o Preparing and administering medications and intravenous solutions

o Implementing physician orders, keeping physicians abreast of their patient’s ongoing care

o Maintaining accurate and complete documentation

o Provides direct care to patients by conducting patient histories and assessments and formulates a care plan for patients and families with collaboration of the medical director, mid-level practitioners and referring providers

o Performing other duties as assigned by the infusion manager, practice manager, physicians, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners

Additional responsibilities may include:

o Conducting or assisting in PICC line placement, Midline placement, ultrasound guided IVs, and dressing changes (paid training available through company if needed)

o Educating patients on chronic disease management

o Conducting and/or assisting with Functional Medicine and Aesthetic related duties
