Job Summary: 

The Controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer. His/her role is to lead the financial development of InfuCare Rx’s business by managing the overall financial well-being of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete oversight of all activities within the accounting department. 
  • Perform month-end and year-end financial close activities within required deadlines. 
  • Provide senior management reporting packages with actionable insight. 
  • Manage lender reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and/or develop, and document financial controls environment, processes and policies related to all aspects of accounting department. 
  • Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans. 
  • Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances. 
  • Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements. 
  • Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations and accounting guidance; participating in education opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 
  • Liaise with consultants, tax preparers and auditors on relevant projects. 
  • Accomplishes finance and organization’s mission by completing related results as needed. 
  • Train/cross-train and help with professional development of team members within the accounting department. 
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degree, such as MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience is required. 
  • Highly proficient in computer skills and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and resource management skills. 
  • Financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, strategic planning, vision, quality management, promotion process improvement, forecasting, corporate finance and developing budgets.
  • Ability to manage complex and changing calendars.
  • Ability to interact effectively and courteously with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. 
  • Ability to work independently and meet established or anticipated deadlines. 
  • Ability to take on a wide range of duties and projects and prioritize appropriately.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed. 
  • Create a safe, effective environment and professionalism. 

Physical Demands:

Required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
