Responsibilities
- Strive to enhance productivity across all areas, balancing quality, efficiency, cost, safety, and morale to achieve optimal results.
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs and waste.
- Directly responsible for employee training, coaching, and, when necessary, discipline.
- Implement and monitor performance tracking metrics to identify losses using Continuous Improvement models.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with the General Manager and production staff, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Work closely with the General Manager on all matters related to production and staffing.
- Must have at least two years of experience in the paper or packaging industry.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but candidates with less than a high school education and 1 to 3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will also be considered.
