InfraHire is looking for a Sr. Litigation Attorney in Providence, RI.Job DescriptionThis role entails offering legal assistance to individuals who have experienced life-altering injuries.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload personally, handling personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
  • Engage extensively with clients, including intake and subsequent communications.
  • Prepare demands and negotiate successful resolutions on behalf of clients.
  • Attend and advocate for clients at depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
  • Independently conduct research, interpret and apply legal principles in the context of motion practice and litigation.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings focused on evaluating and advancing injury and malpractice cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in the litigation of complex medical negligence and serious injury cases.
  • Actively participate in all stages of client representation, including intake, initial office conferences, case development, demand, negotiation, and resolution.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of experience
  • Demonstrates a client-focused approach – personally prioritizes the needs of both external and internal clients by identifying and responding to them in a timely and efficient manner
  • Substantial experience in Medical Malpractice Litigation
  • Substantial experience in Serious Injury Litigation
  • Substantial experience in Complex Litigation
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Fully licensed to practice law in Rhode Island; additional licensing in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut is advantageous
