InfraHire is looking for CNC Programmer in Plymouth, MIResponsibilities
- Create CNC programs from SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and other CAD model software.
- Create CNC programs from prints that might not have CAD models.
- Utilize HyperMill/OpenMind and Fusion 360 software.
- Program creation includes, and is not limited to, tool setup instruction, tool library updates as new tools are introduced, along with definition and creation of workholding and fixturing.
- Ensure programs meet or exceed targeted machining times to ensure optimum use of capacity.
- Use skills in Print Reading, GD&T, Tool Selection, Speeds& Feeds, jigging, and fixturing to create part manufacturing setups.
- Set up fixtures and relevant tooling on machine to manufacture components completely.
- Run programs to manufacture conforming workpieces.
- Work alongside CMM operator/quality department to ensure parts are manufactured to specified tolerances.
- Other duties as assigned
- Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Programming or Engineering, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of five years of recent experience in programming & setup of 3 to 5 axis CNC milling, with turning an advantage
- Experience with MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
- Energetic and great team player
- Ability to work in high pressure environment with tight deadlines and fluid work schedules.
- Great attention to detail and desire to continuously improve processes and procedures already established without sacrificing quality.
- Experience with Mazatrol, Fanuc, and Fadal controls is preferred
- Experience with Hypermill and/or Fusion 360
- CNC simulation software experience an advantage
