We are on the hunt for an experienced Substation Engineering Manager to bolster our team. This role primarily involves overseeing both operational and technical facets of the Substation Department, with a keen focus on managing substation designs, high voltage tasks, and similar duties.
Candidates should have a professional background ranging from 8 to 16 years within the substation design sector.

Key Duties :
- Oversee all Substation operations.
- Formulate and execute efficiency-driven operational strategies.
- Institute and uphold safety protocols, ensuring the department runs smoothly.
- Guarantee adherence to laws and regulations pertinent to substation processes.
- Play an active role in devising and executing departmental budgets.
- Maintain open communication with external partners, like public utilities, contractors, and alike.
- Strategize for heightened departmental efficacy.
- Ensure staff members are equipped with necessary training and certifications.
- Offer professional mentorship and support to the team.
- Foster a positive work environment and collaboration among department members.
- Track departmental outcomes, initiating corrective measures when needed.
- Prioritize safety for both staff and equipment.
- Undertake other duties as delegated.
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- 8 to 16 years' experience in the high voltage substation realm.
- PE Licence in the state of MO, or the ability to obtain one.
- Mastery over substation design concepts, designs, and high-voltage operations.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communicative abilities.
- Proven leadership prowess with a knack for inspiring teams.
- Agile in a dynamic setting with multitasking capabilities.
- Self-driven and collaborative in approach.
- Detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attractive pay based on expertise. ($140-180k Base Salary)
- Performance bonus scheme 15-20% of base
