User Acceptance Testing Analyst
Location: Naperville, IL Onsite
Responsibilities:
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software applications, ensuring that they meet user requirements and specifications.
Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories.
Document and report defects/issues found during testing, including detailed steps to reproduce and potential impact on the system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to end-users during UAT.
Participate in team meetings, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or software testing.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including test case development, execution, and defect management.
Basic technical skills, including knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and basic programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
