Job Title: Customer Data Platform (CDP) Solution Architect

Location: Dallas, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the development of a custom CDP, ensuring seamless integration with existing digital ecosystems.
• Experience with data architecture, data integration, data quality tools, and identity resolution technologies.
• Conduct an in-depth evaluation of database technologies (Graph vs Relational), articulating the pros and cons to determine the most suitable architecture for the CDP, focusing on scalability, performance, and real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with marketing technology stacks, including CRM, DMP, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to capture business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, document, and oversee the implementation of the CDP architecture, emphasizing data efficiency, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Spearhead data governance and compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations.
• Facilitate advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities by ensuring optimal data architecture within the CDP.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CDP trends, advocating for innovative solutions that drive business value.
• Provide leadership and expertise in the selection and deployment of database technologies, balancing technical capabilities with strategic business goals.
• Educate and mentor team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in solution architecture, with a significant focus on data management, digital marketing technologies, and CDP implementation.
• Expert knowledge of various database technologies (Graph, Relational, NoSQL) and their applications in customer data management.
• Demonstrated capability to evaluate and select database architectures, with a comprehensive understanding of their impacts on business objectives.
• Strong foundation in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes, with familiarity in data integration and quality tools.
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and their implications on database and CDP architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of CDP vendors, features, capabilities, and best practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
