Infosys is Hiring a Project Manager Near Christiansburg, VA

Infosys is hiring a Project Manager: This position’s primary responsibility will be to work with key stakeholders and coordinate for day-to day-deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will work with business and help them prioritize roadmap along with Product Owner to increase Agility. The role holder should help teams to practice values and principles of Agile and become more Agile. He / She must be actively involved in technical matters thus finding out the gaps and ensuring product owner involvement in business decision and description of the functional flow. He / She should be able to create status reports and provide status updates to the stake holders on a weekly basis. This position will have all-round responsibility from client relationship management, project management, execution, and team management.
This position is based out of Christiansburg, VA. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Christiansburg, VA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience in Leading and managing IT support project, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
  • Generate Reports for executive read outs, track KPIs and engage with CXO to get priority items addressed
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all project stakeholders, including internal leadership, support teams from Mobile Network Operators and other 3rd party integrations
  • Track project progress, measure performance against baselines, and generate reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Possess a strong understanding of IT support principles, methodologies, and best practices and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
  • Experience in Telecom industry would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
