Infosys is seeking a Sr Data/ETL IICS Developer position with very good Data Engineering background. In this role, you will provide technical guidance to teams; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson(TX) or Infosys Hub Locations or be willing to relocate to the area.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in a specialty in lieu of every year of education.
US citizenship and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with IICS/Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
At least 2 years of experience with ETL/Datawarehousing development with Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Analytics, Relational Database Systems and developing multi-tier applications using Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, ETL/Informatica.
Extensive experience in ETL & BI Tools such as Power Center, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) SSIS, OBIEE, and Tableau.
Experience in streaming data platforms and installing Add-on connectors and drivers for IICS.
Extensive experience in using Application Integration and Data Integration in cloud.
Strong technical experience building data integration processes by constructing mappings, tasks, task flows, schedules, and parameter files and write scripts for File watching and File transfer protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts.
Set up a multiple application connections within IICS.
Develop the CDI Mapping Program for Application API Integration.
Hands on experience in using Cloud Application Integration in IDMC.
Target Configuration:
Create a connection to the Internal Database (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, or any other supported database).
Design the target schema to accommodate the relevant fields.
Implement any necessary data transformations (e.g., data type conversions, filtering, or enrichment).
Scheduling and Monitoring:
Schedule the mapping to run at regular intervals (e.g., daily).
Monitor execution logs for any errors or performance issues.
Data Governance Practices:
Establish data standards (naming conventions, data types, validations).
Implement access controls and permissions.
Document data lineage and relationships.
Regularly audit and validate data.
