Infosys is seeking a Embedded Firmware Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
4 years of Information Technology experience
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong C programming experience
• Familiarity with BIOS, UEFI and Firmware.
• Embedded experience
• Interacting with Windows Hardware through APIs
• Win OS low level internals, Windows PC architecture
• Windows application programing like WPF. (Good to Have)
• Knowledge of Windows Device Drivers. (Good to Have)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Executive leadership communication.
