Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (Aerospace/Defense)
Pay Rate: $27 to $29/HR
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Mesa, AZ

Shift timing - 5 AM to 3:30 PM Mountain time (Monday to Thursday - 10 hours per day)

Position Description:

• Assembly operations of gun systems in a team or environment.

Typical Duties:
Typical duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies and top-level assemblies for gun systems.
• Conduct teardown, evaluate, and reassemble remanufactured products.
• Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to interpret and work on drawings
• Ability to complete processes that require tight tolerances

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of experience working on Mechanical assemblies.
• Mechanical aptitude is needed.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 40 lbs.
• Must be familiar with micrometers/calipers, torque wrenches, and harbor presses.
• Must be able to work as a team.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Able to work overtime and some weekends if needed.
• The contractor will be required to complete the Gun Control Act Certification form.

Comments for Suppliers:

• We work a 4/10 schedule (Mon - Thurs) from 5:00 am - 3:30 pm with overtime when needed.
• Able to work a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed.
